Then cited by the NME as the most exciting British band since the Sex Pistols, The Horrors played their first gig in September 2005 at The Spread Eagle pub on London’s Kingsland Road. Signed by Loog Records soon after, they released their debut single 'Sheena Is A Parasite' in April 2006 which was accompanied by the infamous Chris Cunningham video starring Samantha Morton. A handful of brilliant singles followed in the run-up to the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Strange House’ in March 2007.
