GEORGE GEORGIOU
London-born, George Georgiou began his career in 1985, designing flyers and banners for a variety of warehouse parties and clubs.
Designing and adopting the ‘Smiley’ face as a symbol for Acid House, designing the first ‘Shoom’ flyer for Danny Rampling in ’87.
Today, he is in partnership with a London-based interior design company, General Practice, designing restaurants, bars, shops, exhibition stands, book covers, record sleeves and the occasional flyer.
